I am looking to build a NEV (neighborhood electric vehicle). All the kits I looked at are over $1500?

I have a 1500 dollar limit, and all the kits i looked at are over my limit.

   Forget about a kit. Buy and assemble the components yourself.

   1500 is tough.

   You can build a motorcycle for that much, if you already have the bike. Here’s a good place or parts.
